Kennesaw Mountain is one of the most iconic outdoor photography locations in North Georgia, and as a Kennesaw Mountain photographer, I’ve shot here more times than I can count. But this session—this moment—felt different. It felt like the culmination of a story I’ve been honored to tell for years.

Kennesaw Mountain is one of the most sought‑after locations for maternity photography in Georgia—and for good reason.
The landscape offers a perfect blend of:
- Sweeping mountain views that add depth and drama
- Tall golden grass that glows beautifully at sunset
- Wide open fields ideal for movement and candid moments
- Soft, warm light that wraps around expecting parents like a warm hug
During Maverick and Jordan’s session, the sun dipped behind the ridge at the exact moment we reached the overlook. The sky turned peach, then gold, then a soft rose. It was the kind of light photographers dream about.
